Solio on the Go

Power on the go? with this baby, i can charge my iPod, cell phone, or PDA without the need for any wall outlets. my source of power? the Sun! this is a solar powered charger which can hold precharged power, and the charge used whenever you want. on a long car ride (you can use the car adaptor) but you can also be charging the Solio at the same time, so that when you get to your destination you will have all the power you need. when you go camping, or when you are on a long hike, there are times when solar power comes into good use, especially for those living in the tropics where the sun shines all day long. this fold out solar panel looks like a satellite, but the panels absorb and store charge: With the Solio fully charged, an average mobile phone will charge in approximately 1 - 2 hours. Charging the Solio's internal battery from a wall power socket will take approximately 5 hours. The Solio and 4-5 hours of direct sunlight will fully charge a typical mobile phone. To fully charge the Solio's empty internal battery from the sun takes approximately 10 hours. how it really fairs in real life is another story, but this "Green" idea is one which i embrace! save power, save resources and save earth! awesome stuff!!!

I've been looking for something like this-green energy!!!
The price is not so competitive though (for popular use), especially as the sun is not so consistent. Nevertheless, it definitely worthwhile as an extra gadget.
