PSP Bleach [updated]

the next game i would like to get my hands on is this fighter. Bleach. no idea what the hell this name is supposed to mean, but the 3D fighter looks promising. the video shows fluid action and graphics look awesome. since i haven't played it, i can't tell if the characters really are limited to 8, but there will be wifi connections for head to head action.
Supposedly coming out for the PS2 as well and probably connectable in one way or the other. [equipbug]

having bought and played this game, i can say with confidence that it plays as good as it looks. the graphics are amazing 3D cell shaded animation. the game play is fluid and the battle is tight with the different styles of fighting each character has. having said that, i'm not sure how many characters are available to fight or play with, but i have only encountered 6 in total. it appears that there is one more who is unlockable, but otherwise that may be it. there is also a bonus game of BREAK OUT, which can be played by two players head to head. there is also a card game which i have no understanding of, but i have been collecting points which can be used to purchase these cards in a store. i have a feeling it's for another gameplay where two PSP's share, trade and battle with these cards. hopefully in time i will fine fellow PSP owners and figure out everything, but in the mean time, i'll stick to the action which is more than i imagined any handheld can produce. it's a far cry from "the tower of purgatory" and although there are far fewer characters, each one has its distinct qualities. so far, my favorite has been the short yet quick Rukia Kuchiki. long range and short range attacks are deadly. in any case, i'll try to include a few more photos here for reference. all in all, i would say this PSP game is recommended 4/5.
