Jack of all Trades

my sister got me two Jack Spade bags for christmas and birthday. been using them since. i'm a huge fan of messenger bags and really enjoy having one slung over my shoulder. it's much easier to access than backpacks, just need to swing it around. the other reason is that it looks much better, won't wrinkle all your clothes and you can throw it down just as easily.
Now.. Jack Spade? sounds familiar? Kate Spade from NYC? yeah, it's her husband's brand (Andy Spade), but Jack is their dog (correct me if i got that wrong). but anyway, Spade makes the Warren St. and the Greene St branded things, with the former being more expensive than the latter. So i got one from each. i must say... stay away from the Greene st, they suck! i can't keep the bag on for more than 5 minutes before the strap loosens and lengthens up. the Warren St. bag on the other hand, is top notch. there's leather inlays and the hidden button is a great feature. there are zipped pockets inside and the wear and tear of the cloth makes it look suede. it scratches easily, but that's part of the good looks. it is line RED inside which i find a very nice touch. back to the Greene st (i'm not going to bother looking for a photo), it has pockets galore and definitely targeted towards the student. also has a music player pocket with an access for earphones. this still doesn't justify the poor shoulder strap. the shape of the bag is also easily deformed... bottomline? 4/5 for the Warren St. 1/5 for the Greene St. thanks sis!
