even men have their needs..

never really trusted these products and growing up with nothing more than the generic "moisturizer" i have always laughed upon those who spend hundreds on face products. over the past few years, my friends and family have bought stuff for me to use and insisting that it will help "keep my skin nice". sometimes i wonder what they mean by nice... not like i have wrinkles... or do i? freckles? who cares. so i'm not sure. in anycase, i've finally stuck with one i find pleasant. Shiseido Men. I use it for the simple looking containers (yes...not the best way to judge), and for the near odorless substances. i've tried out the eye gel... i don't know what it's for but that was a present. it feels cool, has a minty smell, that's good enough. the travel facial kit includes cleansing foam, which i never use because i use "soap", the tonique hydratant (which equipnote calls water with smell), and total revitalizer which actually works quite well as a moisturizer. now that summer is rolling around, and it's more humid, i've switched to the moisturizing emulsion. it's in between the "water with smell" and the total revitalizer. in anycase, i find this set good enough and have been happily using it since. i've replaced the Biotherm aquapower with the total revitalizer, the clinique "all about eyes" with the shiseido eye soother, and a basic facial moisturizer with everything else. i am still a strong supporter of good ol' facial soap... instead of the branded cleansing foam etc. in anycase, i use what works and this is decently priced at around 20 dollars for the whole kit. the eye cream and emulsion are additional. hey, i say, if it looks good, use it, if it works all the better... after all, i'm not sure if it makes any difference.
