Cannondale: mine

i've been flying on my cannondale R500 (04) for the past year... and i mean this thing really flies. with average speed of 30kph, and top speed so far of 57kph, i've over taken cars. this thing really rips. now, it's an R500 on the outside, but after some mods, it's really a R600 triple at heart. i got a deal to take the body of R500 and replace everything with the heart of R600, including the Shimano 105 and Gipiemme Grecal Parade rims, hubs and spokes with HUtchison reflex foldable 700 x 23c. it's still CAAD 4, but then again, i don't really need an Optimo frame since i'm no pro. never the less, i've been scared crazy with the speed of this bike... and i love it. one small stone would send my fragile body onto the asphalt at over 50 kph... that would be the end. now, with the cat eye triple bulb LED headlight and CATEYE, MITY 8, computer i can track all my activities on this piece of art! did i mention it looks like a machine? it's absolutely gorgeous black. time to tear down the road and harrass the learner drivers.
